AARDEX Group

A hammer doesn’t build a house. People do.

Back in 1981 Zanussi, the Italian manufacturer of home appliances, launched one of the most iconic marketing slogans ever – ‘The appliance of science’. Aiming to convey the message that Zanussi appliances were built with a high level of engineering and scientific precision, it resonated globally with the idea that technology is wonderful, but it isn’t applicable without human intervention.

At AARDEX we employ a range of software solutions, data analytics and machine learning techniques to deliver the hard data you need for your trial. And while we continue to develop methodologies and AI led applications to deliver even smarter data, that data requires human insight, creativity, and ethical judgment to solve real problems. Fundamentally we see AI, software, and automation as enablers with people providing the purpose and richness required to translate smart data into smarter insights.

That is why we place as much emphasis on the client service aspect of our business as we do the data outputs. To that end, we monitor clients’ satisfaction with our service at the end of every project, assessing six key metrics, both rational in terms of system delivery, and emotional in terms of project management and support.

In the latest report we are pleased to see that we are exceeding expectations in all areas and have witnessed marked improvements in the provision of our solutions as our investment in R&D continues to pay off.

From a project management perspective, the qualitative feedback is very pleasing with clients reporting that meetings are well organised and provide clear guidance with the team regarded as available, supportive, proactive, professional, efficient and knowledgeable.

Regular data review meetings are regarded as useful in supporting sites in determining adherence and are often used as reference when intervention is needed.

Our training is equally valued, being regarded as user friendly, particularly on site, where regular training ensures good practices are adhered to. All supported by excellent training material in multiple formats.

In terms of the software applications, ease of use is cited, with a simple installation process and an intuitive user interface. The Dashboard adds real value in terms of precision of data capture and the resultant insight through the delivery of real time IP adherence data and identification of potential issues, including overdosing. All of which facilitates interventions to reset behaviours as necessary.

We all know that  empathy and understanding cannot be automated, just as every patient is an individual, so is every stakeholder in the clinical trial process. It is our firm belief that is the application of emotional intelligence, as well as science, it critical to the success of any clinical trial.

Establishing hard evidence for your trial…

AARDEX has a best practice methodology, independent of any device package or software platform. Utilising our expertise and experience in medication adherence and patient compliance we acquire, monitor, analyse, guide and interpret data to deliver absolute clarity and bring confidence to sponsors, trialists, and ultimately, patients.
